We have been learning many things and have been very grateful for our children's support in our efforts to follow an answer to prayer. Mormon's words found in the Book of Mormon speak to my heart. "And I do this for a wise purpose; for thus it whispereth me, according to the workings of the Spirit of the Lord which is in me. And now, I do not know all things; but the Lord knoweth all things which are to come; wherefore, he worketh in me to do according to his will."(Words of Mormon 1:7) Our efforts to trust in the Lord have led us to be greatly rewarded and I know that God is watching over our families and has abundantly blessed us. Each day is a new opportunity to see the Lord's hand in our life and rejoice at the tender mercies we are afforded.
A few of our other summer activities included a little camping, wood chopping, a family reunion here at our home in Cedar and a whole lot of swimming.
Zion's National Park
I forget what this game was but it was fun.
Of course here were are now with summer over and in the thick of school again. Nathan is enjoying his second year in High School. Ashlyn is participating in a Commonwealth school with some kids here age and doing a few subjects here at home. She is especially loving a Shakespeare and ballroom dance class. BayLenn and Maren are here with me at home and we have been having fun learning a new curriculum. Maren was writing notes like crazy this past weekend during General Conference. I've not had so many love notes from one of my kids in recent history. It was a lot of fun.
Here are a few more summer memories. I will try to do a better job this fall with putting on the Craven happenings.
Attending the temple with Josh
Camping at Great Basin and Maren turned 7. Wow!!
I'm so happy that things have worked out with your family and the Simmermans. You are both such amazing families- the combination of the two of you must be a serious power to be reckoned with. All Hail the "Cravermans" who can do anything they set their mind to. I really miss you guys! Cindy
